What's 4G speed? Good or Bad?

As you know Sprint released the New HTC Evo 4G last summer, and for many it was a big deal. I was one of those many who was curious about these "4G speeds." So just like any other person with a spare 200 dollars I go and buy the brand new Evo. The guy at the Sprint store refers to it as the fastest phone out in the universe, and I say ahh thats great. It also turns out I have to pay an extra $10 for the 4G. And I realize thats not 2 bad. So I take the phone home and realize I can't get 4G For some reason? I go back to the store and file a compliant. And he says its only available in some cities. So basically I'm paying 10 dollars for the 4G I Don't get at

all. So then that summer I drive down to Charlotte,NC
Where I do get 4G. And then I try it out and it turns out that using 4G drains your bat

tery in like 30 Minutes. So from that point on I just use the Good old 3G.

But as you know a year has passed and almost every other cell phone provider has gotten the 4G internet such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Although Verizon wanted to a special and add a unneeded "Lte"to there 4G. It's the same damn thing! Congrats to the idiots at Verizon for charging people more than spirnt for haveing "4G LTE."

In the Long run, I think the whole 4G internet is a waste of 10 dollars, unless if Htc can make phone battery life longer and if Sprint AT&T, Verzion and T Mobile can bring 4G to the smaller cities. Cause thats where the alot of the customers live.
